Veronica Brandon Miller

Veronica is an accomplished nonprofit executive, advancement professional, and community leader with more than 35 years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, marketing, branding, and organizational leadership. Throughout her distinguished career, she has raised philanthropic support for educational institutions, national nonprofits, and community organizations while building meaningful relationships that create lasting impact.

Veronica has held numerous executive leadership roles, including serving as Executive Director of ShelterBox USA, Executive Director of the Navy League of the United States Foundation, and in senior advancement positions at nationally recognized organizations, such as the Smithsonian Institution, Goodwill Industries, and the National Safety Council, where she contributed to major fundraising efforts and managed significant philanthropic relationships. Her career also includes leadership roles in community engagement, nonprofit management, and strategic communications.

A passionate advocate for philanthropy and community service, Veronica has served on numerous boards and has been recognized for her leadership, commitment to service, and ability to inspire transformational giving. She is known for her authentic leadership style, strategic vision, and unwavering dedication to helping organizations and individuals achieve meaningful change.

Veronica moved to Sarasota in 2006 from Washington, D.C. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and graphic design from Boston University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland. She resides in Florida, where she remains deeply involved in philanthropic and community initiatives.
