Matthew Straeb
Matthew is a technology executive and adoption advocate whose leadership has helped expand the Heart Gallery network, supporting more than 8,500 foster care adoptions annually. He co-founded the Heart Gallery of Broward (2006) and Heart Gallery of America (2008), serves as President of the Heart Gallery of Sarasota, and founded the Florida Association of Heart Galleries. He also executive produced The Davion Effect, a documentary focused on foster care. In addition to his work advancing adoption awareness, he serves on The Salvation Army Advisory Board, chairs the Mission Committee at Church of the Palms, and received the Florida Governor’s Points of Light Award for community service.
Professionally, Matthew is Executive Vice President of AlertFM/Global Security Systems, where he leads emergency communications, public safety, and disaster resilience initiatives. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and is married with two daughters.
