Host a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser

Dedicate your birthday to raise money for Second Heart Homes! Facebook gives users the opportunity to create a birthday fundraiser quickly and securely on its platform. It’s a fun way to rally friends while raising money and awareness for our work.

Two weeks before your birthday, start your fundraiser on your Facebook page, with the goal of raising $200-$500 or whatever you’d like it to be. Cut and paste the following description into your fundraising appeal:

Second Heart Homes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides housing and critical support services to adult homeless residents with mental health issues to revive dignity, establish stability and teach independence. For my birthday, I’m seeking to raise $200 or more to help Second Heart Homes purchase homes, provide for supplies, maintenance and repairs, secure daily living products and services for clients, and pay operating expenses. Please make a donation today and share my birthday wish with your friends and family!
